Support for Refugee & Displaced Eastern & Central Africa
Across Eastern and Central Africa, millions of people have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict, drought, floods, and food insecurity. Families from South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Central African Republic, Ethiopia, and Somalia face unimaginable hardships as they seek safety in refugee camps and host communities. The numbers continue to rise as ongoing conflicts and climate crises drive more people into displacement.
Children make up more than half of these displaced populations, and they are at risk of malnutrition, disease, exploitation, and the loss of education. Parents struggle to provide even the most basic necessities, while health services and humanitarian aid are stretched to their limits.
Our Refugee & Displaced People Support Project aims to provide urgent relief and sustainable support to these vulnerable communities through:
-
Emergency Relief – food baskets, clean water, shelter kits, and clothing for newly displaced families.
-
Healthcare & Protection – mobile clinics, essential medicines, maternal health care, and psychosocial support.
-
Education for Displaced Children – temporary classrooms, school kits, and safe spaces for learning.
-
Livelihood & Skills Training – vocational programs and small grants to help families rebuild their lives with dignity.
The impact of your support is immediate and life-changing:
-
$50 provides food and water for a displaced family for one week.
-
$150 supplies a family with essential shelter materials, blankets, and cooking utensils.
-
$300 supports emergency medical care and medicines for mothers and children in refugee camps.
-
$1,000 establishes a temporary classroom for displaced children, restoring hope through education.
By standing together, we can ensure that refugees and displaced people from South Sudan, DRC, CAR, Ethiopia, and Somalia are not forgotten. Your support gives them safety, dignity, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives despite the crises they face.
